Chorus 7th:

A course in choral techniques designed for the student who wishes to develop his/her singing ability. Students will learn various musical selections which will be performed in concerts twice a year.

Beginning Piano (7th & 8th grades - music lab):



An introductory piano/keyboard course for students who wish to learn basic playing skills.

Electronic Keyboards I & II (7th & 8th grades - music lab):

This course educates students on how to operate and program the Yamaha PSR-E403 electronic keyboard. Programming original sounds and rhythm loops is also covered. Please note that this is not a Piano Technique class.

Music In Motion (7th grade):

Students will explore an exciting variety of hands-on topics including performing on guitars, boomwhackers, and rhythm instruments. Students may also study careers in music and American music styles.

Music Mashup (8th grade) :

Students will embark on a fun and flexible musical journey as they build off of past music knowledge and add new concepts and skills. Activities can include working in the music lab, performing on guitars and rhythm instruments, discovering the history of Rock and Roll, and soaking in the sounds of World Music (no prerequisite needed).
